This assembly features a 5 3/4-inch tall solid wood base, designated WB-1, which is finished to match the adjacent wall panel. The base sits flush with the WD-7.1 wood panel above, separated by a 1/4-inch reveal. A WD-1 edgeband is applied to the bottom edge of the wood panel to provide a clean transition at the reveal. The base is finished per the project schedule at the floor line.
