Cold-formed steel jamb and sill sections utilize 362S162-54 metal studs and 362T150-54 metal tracks configured in single and double arrangements based on opening dimensions. Fastener schedules require a minimum of two number eight sheet metal screws at twenty-four inches on center through the track flanges to the stud flanges on both sides. Double stud and double track configurations provide additional structural capacity for larger openings. Partition types govern specific metal track and stud widths.
