Roof drains and overflow drains are set into timber roof sheathing with tapered rigid insulation sloping toward the drain sumps. A single-ply roof membrane extends continuously over the rigid insulation and terminates at the drain flanges. A two-inch collar is provided at overflow drains only, maintaining a minimum spacing of two feet between drain assemblies.
