Step two requires applying self-adhered weather resistive barrier jamb liner to the jamb of the rough opening, with the base lapped over the sill pan. The self-adhered flashing extends at least nine inches and matches the depth of the storefront. Proper shingling ensures water sheds away from the interior rough opening.
