A vinyl window installs over a prefinished sheet metal flashing and trim assembly. Fiber-reinforced cementitious panels mount over a weather barrier and liquid applied flashing on the exterior wall. An aluminum back angle supports the window unit, while joint sealant and backer rod provide weatherproofing at the interior and exterior junctions.
