A single component stair nosing with a mill finish aluminum construction and black color is recessed into the stair tread. The nosing features a two-and-a-quarter-inch width and is positioned one inch back from the rounded edge of the tread, which has a half-inch radius. The vertical face of the tread measures six inches total, with a one-inch setback at the base. Reinforcing for the assembly is detailed separately per the reference drawing.
