Six-inch cold-formed metal stud framing provides the structural core of the partition wall, with stud spacing coordinated with structural drawings. Sound attenuation batt insulation fills the stud cavity to improve acoustic performance. Five-eighths-inch gypsum wall board faces one side of the framing, while one-half-inch backer board is installed on the opposing side to receive wall finishes per the interior elevation and finish schedule.
