The assembly features a hollow metal door and frame bearing on a metal threshold set atop an interior concrete slab on grade. The exterior side transitions to an exterior concrete pad or sidewalk provided by others, maintaining a maximum half-inch clearance at the door bottom per schedule. A concrete panel foundation element supports the slab transition below.
