This wall assembly is constructed with six-inch cold-formed steel studs spaced at twenty-four inches on center, faced with five-eighths-inch Type X gypsum board on both sides. A continuous metal track and continuous metal stud and track spacer are integrated at the base. A diagonal wall brace consisting of a six-inch cold-formed steel stud is tied back to the main framing at twenty-four inches on center using four number twelve self-drilling Tek screws.
