This plan detail shows a twenty-four gauge galvanized iron scupper penetrating a nine-inch by eighteen-inch rough opening within a concrete tilt-up wall. The roof assembly includes a mineral surface cap sheet with the roofing returned into the opening on all sides and hot mopped, a four-inch perlite cant strip, and a primed twenty-four gauge galvanized iron scupper flashing set in roof cement over the field plies and stripping plies. Flashing and stripping plies are nailed at four inches on center through the flanges. An approved sealant is applied around the penetration, and a twenty-two gauge galvanized iron scupper painted to match the building extends through the wall.
