An access door is integrated into a suspended gypsum board ceiling framing system using manufacturer-provided frames and clips attached to support channels. Each corner of the opening features a vertical 12-gauge wire attachment with a minimum of four tight turns. Two 12-gauge splay wires are located at diagonally opposite corners for additional stabilization. A metal casing bead finishes the gypsum board edge around the access panel, which includes a hinge and latch.
