An interior door jamb assembly is housed within a metal stud and gypsum board partition. A pre-finished knock-down steel frame mounts into the wall opening, secured with drywall screws placed adjacent to each retaining clip. Pre-finished steel casings finish both sides of the frame against the gypsum wallboard. The door panel size and type are specified in the door schedule.
