A vertical steel pipe penetrates a concrete floor slab through a steel pipe sleeve surrounded by safing insulation. The pipe is supported by a riser clamp secured with threaded rods anchored to floor supports above the finished floor level. Optional pipe insulation continues along the vertical run through the assembly.
