An aluminum tuning fork mullion centers on the framing layout to support an exterior vision glass insulated glazing unit designated GL-1 and an adjacent aluminum panel shadow box. Thick foil-faced mineral wool batt insulation fills the shadow box cavity behind the panel. The mullion profile measures three and one-half inches in height with a nine-inch overall dimension to the glazing plane, maintaining a one-half inch joint spacing at the mullion centerline.
