A continuous concrete curb with a steel trowled finish features tooled half-inch radius edges and transitions between a paved surface and landscaped areas. Finish grade sits one inch at sod and one and a half inches at ground cover, adjacent to aggregate base and select fill. One-inch diameter Schedule 40 polyvinyl chloride weepholes are spaced at eight feet on center, sloping at a minimum of one inch down from the back of the curb into a one-third cubic foot rock pit. Expansion joints are provided at sixteen feet on center maximum and at curve tangents and corners, with the back of the curb finished a minimum of three inches down from the top.
