This stair railing assembly features a top handrail made from a two-inch by one-and-a-half-inch flat bar paired with a three-inch by one-inch flat bar. Vertical pickets and intermediate rails utilize one-and-a-half-inch by half-inch flat bars spaced to maintain a maximum four-inch opening. The handrail is supported by a half-inch diameter round bar bracket mounted to the vertical supports. The overall guard height is three feet six inches minimum, with the handrail positioned between thirty-four and thirty-eight inches above the stair nosing.
