An one-eighth-inch-thick stairway identification sign is permanently attached to the wall on the latch side of the door at sixty inches on center and three inches from the frame. At the exit discharge level, the sign includes a raised five-pointed star to the left of the floor level. The sign features sans-serif characters raised one-thirty-second of an inch and corresponding Grade II braille below. Characters and background maintain a non-glare finish with distinct contrast from the wall, matching building standard colors.
