A single-ply roof membrane is laid over rigid insulation and supported by roof sheathing. Tapered rigid insulation slopes toward the roof drain and overflow drain locations. A two-inch collar surrounds the overflow drain only. The drains are installed through the roof assembly with a minimum separation of two feet.
