A fully welded hollow metal door frame connects to the jamb stud assembly with continuous non-hardening resilient sealant applied on both sides where the frame meets the finished opening wall. Continuous insulation is packed inside the hollow metal frame cavity. Perimeter gasketing runs continuously at the head and jambs per the manufacturer requirements.
