A small conduit or condensate line runs across a new two-by-four by six-inch redwood blocking piece spaced at six to eight feet on center. The redwood blocking is set into new roof cement over a new minimum half-inch roof protection material set over the completed roof system. A new metal strap with lag screws fastens the conduit down to the blocking. The roof protection material extends a minimum of two inches beyond the blocking on all sides.
