A continuous 362T18 steel track or twenty-gauge deflection track fastens to a concrete wall using zero-point-one-seven-seven-inch by one-and-one-half-inch long shot pins with metal washers spaced at twenty-four inches on center. The steel joist and framing studs secure to the track using number ten screws. A one-half-inch joint filled with caulking runs on both sides of the junction between the concrete and framing assembly. Gypsum board finishes the interior side as required per the floor plan.
