Brick veneer transitions to a concrete sidewalk over a concrete foundation wall with a perimeter drain and granular fill below. A stainless steel metal flashing with vent cells at every head joint sits above a primary weather-resistive barrier lapped over the flashing. S.A.M. 5 self-adhered membrane and semi-rigid insulation back the brick veneer with a one-and-a-half-inch minimum air space. A concrete slab-on-grade bears on rigid insulation over an underslab vapor barrier and granular fill. Foundation drainmat and dampproofing membrane protect the exterior foundation wall above the filter fabric wrapped drain rock and perimeter drain.
