An insulated cable or conduit penetrates a fire-rated concrete or concrete block wall within a non-metallic sleeve that may extend a maximum of two inches or fifty-one millimeters beyond the wall surface. Annular space is packed with damming material consisting of backer rod, fiberglass, or mineral wool. CP 25WB caulk is applied on both sides of the wall around the penetration.
