A six-inch diameter galvanized steel pipe is filled with concrete and extends four feet above the building slab. Four one-half inch diameter by three-inch long studs are welded to the lower portion of the bollard to anchor it within the surrounding concrete. The assembly is anchored into a concrete footing beneath the building slab, with the top of the concrete inside the pipe rounded off.
