A new steel flat bar guardrail is mounted atop a framed wall constructed with new wall framing and new blocking for the handrail, finished with two-by-six tongue and groove wood siding on both sides salvaged from floor demolition. A one-and-one-half-inch outer diameter steel handrail with painted finish is mounted to the face of the partition at thirty-six inches above the tread. The top of the guardrail extends to forty-two inches above the tread.
