A metal column cover terminates above a concrete pedestal with a continuous sealant joint. A metal base bead specified under section 09 6623 is embedded at the top of the concrete pedestal margin. The radiant floor topping slab transitions into the concrete pedestal with a one-inch radius cove. Vertical and horizontal dimensions establish the spacing between the metal column cover and the floor topping slab.
