Metal studs frame into a twenty-gauge track anchored to the substrate with Hilli X-U 27 P8 powder-actuated fasteners featuring one-inch minimum embedment spaced at twelve inches on center with a minimum of two fasteners. Gypsum board finishes are applied to each side and secured with number eight screws on each side typically. A bead of sealant is applied at the base on each side.
