This assembly consists of a concrete-filled steel pipe guard post extending three feet six inches above finished grade and embedded into a forty-two-inch deep concrete footing. A square steel plate is welded to the bottom of the pipe with a three-eighths-inch fillet weld. The footing is finished with a two-inch reveal above grade with a half-inch radius at the edges when located in landscape areas. The pipe is painted safety yellow, and the top of the concrete footing is sloped for drainage. Pipe diameters of four, six, and eight inches correspond to footing diameters of eighteen, twenty-four, and thirty inches, respectively, with matching square base plates as specified in the data schedule.
