A fall protection anchor is secured to a 2-inch diameter 1018 round bar anchor mount, which is tapped to suit the bolt and welded to the hollow structural section with a one-quarter inch fillet weld applied near and far. The fall protection anchor attaches using a five-eighths inch diameter Grade 8 zinc-plated bolt set in thread locker. A continuous bead of sealant is applied all around the mount interface.
