A continuous metal coping caps the top of the masonry parapet wall over treated two-inch wood nailers and a wood fiber tapered edge strip providing a slope of one-quarter inch per foot. A waterproofing membrane extends below the nailer and is secured by the metal coping. The outer edge engages a continuous metal cleat fastened with gasketed fasteners spaced per specifications. One-quarter-inch by four-inch masonry screw anchors are installed at twelve inches on center staggered. The wall assembly below is finished with a waterproofing membrane.
