A twenty-minute UL-rated door frame is anchored within a rough opening formed by a metal track and nested three-and-five-eighths-inch metal studs. Five-eighths-inch Type X gypsum board clads each side of the stud wall over the metal track, enclosing thermal insulation where specified. The door assembly includes a tight-fitting smoke and draft control arrangement complying with building code requirements.
