A quarter-inch by five-inch by five-inch weld plate is connected to a structural column with three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds on the sides and a quarter-inch fillet weld at the base. A five-eighths-inch diameter erection bolt is provided as an option and may remain in place after the weld is completed.
