This assembly features an eight-inch metal stud wall with a one-hour fire rating wrapping around a square hollow structural section column. The interior finish is specified per the finish plans. The tube steel column is to be painted where exposed, unless noted otherwise. The wall framing is positioned to maintain a four-inch clearance from the column face.
