An exterior granite stone slab countertop meets a six-inch square aluminum-glazed mullion at a counter height of three feet six inches. The granite slab is supported by a five-eighths-inch substrate and terminates in a mitered corner with a three-eighths-inch radius and a drip edge. A backer rod and color-matched sealant seal the joint between the stone slab and the aluminum mullion framing.
