This architectural detail shows a brick veneer cavity wall assembly anchored to cold-formed steel framing. A masonry wall tie connects the exterior brick wythe across the cavity, penetrating through rigid insulation and weather resistive barrier to fasten into the steel stud framing. Interior gypsum board finishes the stud wall assembly on the warm side of the batt insulation layer.
