This assembly features a metal inside corner trim piece installed at the junction of two cement plaster wall surfaces. The corner trim is mechanically fastened through the plaster base and rigid insulation into the underlying sheathing with screws. A minimum 12-inch wide strip of reinforcing mesh is embedded within the plaster layers at the corner to provide additional tensile strength. The plaster finish is applied over the insulation and sheathing substrate, with the corner bead providing a clean, protected edge for the plaster termination.
