Concrete-filled steel pan treads with a slip-resistant finish are supported by slanted steel risers welded to the tread pans. A channel stringer provides structural support below the stair assembly, with its size and configuration coordinated per structural drawings. Riser nosings feature a required radius or bevel between six millimeters and ten millimeters in horizontal dimension. Tread depth is dimensioned per plan with riser heights ranging from one hundred twenty-five to one hundred eighty millimeters or four point nine to seven inches.
