A six-inch diameter by quarter-inch thick minimum steel pipe guard post is embedded in a twelve-inch diameter concrete footing and filled with concrete. The top of the concrete fill is sloped and painted to match the post. The footing extends three feet deep with three inches of clearance below the pipe and stands two inches above finished grade in landscape areas with a half-inch rounded edge. The total post height above grade is four feet.
