An outside corner assembly for insulated metal panels featuring a prefinished 26-gauge galvanized steel corner trim matching the wall panels. The metal stud and gypsum board wall cavity is filled with un-faced glass-fiber insulation. A 1-inch thick extruded polystyrene board insulation is adhered to the metal panel, backed by a foil-backed self-adhering vapor barrier membrane closure. Foam-in-place insulation fills the corner void. The 8-inch by 8-inch by 26-gauge galvanized steel corner trim is fastened to the wall panels with number 10 by 3/4-inch galvanized sheet metal screws spaced at 12 inches on center, with the finish of the trim and fasteners matching the wall panels. A note specifies that the vapor barrier must be adhered to the warm side of the panel.
