A vertical 4-inch solid high-density polyethylene pipe extends upward from a subdrain per plan, terminating two inches above the top of the soil media. A screen cap specified per the pipe manufacturer closes the top of the cleanout pipe. A ninety-degree elbow connects the vertical cleanout riser to the horizontal subdrain system below the soil and gravel layers.
