The assembly consists of a galvanized steel stringer supported by a tubular steel post, which is anchored to the floor via a galvanized steel base plate. A galvanized 1 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch by 1/8 inch angle is welded to the channel to support the landing grating. The grating is composed of 1 1/4 inch by 1/8 inch bearing bars spaced at 1 3/16 inches on center, with cross bars at 4 feet on center. A 1 1/2 inch outside diameter standard pipe post serves as a railing, welded directly to the galvanized stringer.
