Mineral wool insulation and firestop sealant are installed at the junction of the fire-rated wall assembly and exterior wall per code evaluation detail CED-693006a and UL design sheet G3.012. The interior finish and scheduled fire-rated wall are installed per plans. The exterior wall assembly bears on the underlying metal decking and framing.
