This interior partition assembly consists of cold-formed metal stud framing finished on both sides with multiple layers of gypsum wallboard. Acoustic batt insulation fills the cavity between the framing members for sound attenuation. The outer surfaces are faced with double layers of gypsum wallboard secured to the framing.
