Structural 1 plywood sheathing is applied parallel to rafters with staggered joints, using continuous edge nailing and intermediate nailing. Purlins are spaced at eight feet on center unless noted otherwise. Douglas Fir number one two-by-four rafters are spaced at twenty-four inches on center at the warehouse area, while Douglas Fir number two two-by-six rafters are spaced at twenty-four inches on center at the office area. Refer to detail two for conditions where four-by rafters occur.
