This wall-mounted lavatory counter features a quartz surface finish over a three-quarters-inch plywood substrate, framed with continuous double two-by-four joists spaced at twenty-four inches on center. The counter is supported by two-by-two-by-three-sixteenth-inch galvanized steel brackets with eighteen-inch legs spaced at forty-eight inches on center maximum. Each bracket attaches to the wall with four quarter-inch diameter screws on the vertical leg and three quarter-inch diameter screws on the horizontal leg. The wall assembly consists of gypsum board over metal studs, reinforced with double eighteen-gauge studs at the bracket locations. A four-inch solid surface splash and a four-inch quartz splash are provided at the wall intersections. Below the counter, a mirror with a stainless steel frame is mounted to the wall, and a removable panel with Keku clips is provided where specified to maintain ADA knee space requirements and allow maintenance access between twenty-nine and thirty-four inches above the finished floor.
