An eight-inch ground face concrete masonry unit wall sits atop a concrete footing with grade established per landscape drawings. The masonry wall is reinforced with number four vertical and horizontal bars at thirty-two inches on center, supplemented by two number four alternate hooks at thirty-two inches on center. The concrete footing contains three continuous number four reinforcing bars. An expansion joint is incorporated at the wall base interface.
