A metal parapet coping caps the top of the masonry wall, secured over a treated two-by wood nailer and a wood fiber tapered edge strip that provides a slope of one-quarter inch per one foot. A waterproofing membrane extends below the wood nailer and is secured by quarter-inch by four-inch masonry screw anchors spaced at twelve inches on center staggered. A continuous metal cleat engages the outer edge of the coping, fastened with gasketed fasteners spaced per specifications.
