A six-foot or four-foot long precast reinforced concrete wheel stop sits atop asphalt concrete paving and aggregate base over compacted soil. Two number four rebar dowels, embedded eighteen inches minimum into natural grade and set flush with the top of the wheel stop, anchor the unit in place. The wheel stop measures seven and one-half inches wide by five and one-half inches high, with a height of twelve inches in truckyards to the end of the stall. Concrete curbs and landscaping appear where indicated, and epoxy adhesive may be used in lieu of rebar for concrete slab installation with owner approval.
