An exterior gutter and scupper flashing assembly connects to the edge of a metal roof system. Prefinished sheet metal gutters and downspouts tie into the perimeter, with member sizes determined by local codes to direct roof runoff appropriately. A downspout is positioned to occur only at the column line. Continuous bird netting is installed beneath the overhang.
