The head condition for a Won-Door system is integrated with a rated wall assembly and structural hollow structural section columns. Two layers of five-eighths-inch Type X gypsum board are applied to each side to achieve a two-hour fire rating at the door pocket. A recessed box for electrical power connection is coordinated within the pocket framing. Alignment dimensions locate the centerlines of steel relative to the manufacturer requirements and existing wall assemblies.
